Our drivers are compassionate, caring, reliable, and responsible individuals charged with transporting clients with mobility challenges or individuals/seniors and others who require transportation to their destinations safely.
Personal Care Services MidSouth Transportation provides transportation services to individuals with transportation needs so that they can continue with their daily lives without being impeded by travel.
Transportation Responsibilities
- Show up to work in a timely manner.
- Take work orders from the supervisor for client trips.
- Drive clients to their destinations on time.
- Assist clients as they get into and out of the vehicle.
- Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor.
- Operate wheelchair lifts as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Notify the Office or Immediate Supervisor 6 hours before the scheduled vehicle pick-up if you are unable to report.
Transportation Qualifications
- Must have previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring, and timely manner
- Must possess a minimum of a valid F Endorsement License
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a great work history with a track record of being a reliable, responsible
- individual (must provide references from the previous employer)
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a working phone and be available for assignments as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Know how to keep a level head in a busy environment
- Must be passionate about helping people
- Great communication skills
- A good working knowledge of the West Tennessee area is a plus
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus but not required
- If PCS MidSouth Transport LLC pays for your DOT and Drug test, you are required to work 91 days
- If you quit prior to 91 days, then the charge for the DOT and Drug test will be deducted from your last paycheck.
